MIND / BODY
By utilizing domestic objects; cupboard, cups, teapots, flatware, tables, I’ve created small scale installations that reflect on the emotional and physical fragility of the human mind and body. I am observing the poetics of the impact the emotions and rational thought have on the well being of the body. I am investigating the corporeality of the body and its organs, curious about how the mind and emotions are interrelated and how one integrates the corporeal, spiritual and rational elements of our physicality to find balance.
